Dr. Elise Bolstad

Dr. Elise S. Bolstad, OD grew up in Nolensville, TN and earned both her bachelor’s degree and Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. While at Indiana University, she was an active leader in Volunteer Optometric Services in Humanity and member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Bolstad joined Brentwood Eye Care in 2020 as a full-time associate and is trained in primary care optometry. Her clinical skills include contact lens fittings (including multifocal, astigmatism, and myopic control lenses), ocular disease management (including dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy) and surgical co-management (including laser vision correction, cataract, and glaucoma surgeries). Dr. Bolstad is certified in myopia management techniques such as MiSight and Corneal Refractive Therapy and has served as a civilian eye care provider for the Department for Veteran Affairs. Dr. Bolstad is currently a member of Middle Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society and Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.

Currently, Dr. Bolstad resides in Nolensville where she shares a home with her husband and their dog, Ruby. In her free time enjoys taking Ruby for walks, spending time with family and friends, reading, and cheering on the Hoosiers.
